Independent immigrants seek to reside and earn their living in Canada through employment in their occupational field. Please note that Canada regularly defines a list of occupations open to prospective immigrants based on the needs of Canada’s labor market.

The Application will be assessed based on the following 6 selection criteria:

2. Proficiency in English and French

This class was created to help reunite Canadian citizens and landed permanent residents with their families. Immigration regulations allow the following persons for admission:

1. Spouse, common- law or conjugal partners
2. Dependent children
